A few kind words from former colleagues and professional connections.

Our timelines at MECLABS barely overlapped, which is too bad, because Brad’s the kind of person you’d like to work with more often. I’m glad we were able to collaborate on content projects, and I’m looking forward to new opportunities to team up with him. He knows his craft and brings a solid sense of humor to the party.
Conversion Expert, Designer, Author and Copywriter
Brad is a phenomenal content manager and editor. In my time working with him, I found him to be a very capable, organized and highly skilled person, not to mention a wonderful mentor. He’s organized, innovative and always has his finger on the pulse of all things marketing.
Digital Marketing & Community Management
Working with Brad was a distinct pleasure. Not only is he steady as a rock and unflappable, he knows how to wrap information in great stories and that is a skill many lack.
During our collaboration, his focus was entirely on making it as productive and enjoyable for me as possible while meeting his objectives as well — that’s smart.
Founder, Get it Done U
Brad is by far one of the best editors I’ve had the privilege of working with. Not only does he completely get the information marketing space but he brings his unique vantage point of business optimization from his experience with MarketingSherpa to elevate his copy and info products to a whole other level. I look forward to working with Brad as our paths cross again.
Partner/Chief Marketing Officer at Ascend2
Brad did a great job of repositioning Digital Marketer content to be a strategic inbound marketing tool for their products and services. And trust me that’s not an easy task — just take a look at some of the content that is littering websites, blogs, and social platforms! What Brad does with great skill and finesse is to develop and implement content strategies that identify the wants of the target audience and delivers to them high-quality and engaging content. Yes, Brad is an excellent editor and writer, but if you are looking for that third element of content strategy, then Brad is the man that can deliver.
Planner/Buyer at GE
Brad Bortone is the embodiment of a professional and it was a pleasure to work with him. Brad and I worked together on projects ranging from daily content production to larger annual publications and his insights as an author and editor were paramount to the success of those projects.
Brad’s insights are rivaled by his talents as an author and editor. In short, he is a great addition to any team and offers dedication and talents that are second to none.
Strategic Director of Marketing at Acorio
In presidential politics, the person that ultimately gets elected is usually the one that most people would like to sit down and have a beer with. As a colleague, Brad was always the one in the room that I wanted to sit down and laugh with at the end of the night.
That is not to discount Brad’s extraordinary business acumen, or his dedication to his job. Routinely, Brad took on monumental projects, and finished them ahead of schedule, sometimes working dog’s hours to do it. For example, when I called Brad at 7:30 on a Friday and asked for a special editorial project by Monday because I was under the gun, it was done by 10:30 Friday night.
From an editorial perspective, you could not ask for a better teammate. Brad made me a better writer, period. He has a keen grasp of language – how you structure an argument, and provide constructive feedback to make the work shine without sacrificing the writer’s confidence (or ego). That line can be hard to walk, particularly for those tied to their words, but Brad always seemed to find the path through. If I could send every sentence I produce through Brad’s brain before I publish it, I would be much more successful in life.
Brad is a watcher of human behavior, which makes him a terrific manager. (It is also, I suspect, what makes him a good writer). He was always a great sounding board for perspective on managing or working with different personalities, and I generally found his advice spot on.
Finally, to my initial point, Brad is just incredibly likable. In a short period of time, he became a friend instead of simply a colleague. If you are lucky enough to come across his path, snatch him up! Being a team player is easy to say, but much harder to execute. Brad very rarely touts his own skills, but his deep experience and commitment make him one of the best teammates I have ever had.
